Literally me when I got a new Xiaomi headset, this shit has SOUND. ISOLATION. It makes a beach noise when you turn it on and when you put it on you can't hear the outside!

I believed this for half a second, but that's more than I should've believed it for

Much like the trump impeachment this will probably fail and just boost the president's ratings for a while

I thought the point of a Wagenknecht party was that it could take votes FROM the afd (and others due to her being a popular figure), has she ever actually said that she'd work with that party?

Unless by "fascists" you mean anyone not very socially liberal, in that case I agree it's my understanding that she wouldn't close her party's ranks to social conservatives.

I remember seeing a tweet a few weeks ago with Die Linke polling a 5% (as they have for years) saying "what's even the point of die linke?" and...yeah sad to think they won't even be able to hold on to what little they have because of this split

Unrelated to anything but last weekend I went to the portuguese communist party's Avante Festival where, besides a whole lot of cool fucking stuff, several communist/progressive parties are represented, some of them have restaurants others have stands and stuff.

The CPC stand, as usual, had some high tech gadjets as well as traditional chinese products at very good prices, how good? I walked away with a 250€ Xiaomi headset for 40€. Also got Cuban cigars and rum.

But yeah I encourage everyone to come every year it's a lot of fun, here's some photos and a video from last year, this was when the attacks on the party for our position on ukraine were the fiercest and this year even MORE people showed up which meant longer lines (which is very socialist) but also was very nice to see

Cuba has plenty to lose by doing like Syria and the DPRK and fully backing Russia in this conflict, not the least of which is there diplomatic reputation but also whatever volume of trade they're still able to have with, say, the EU and the west

Statement from the Cuban ministry of foreign affairs about cuban mercenaries in ukraine:

The Ministry of the Interior has detected and it is working to neutralize and dismantle a human trafficking network that operates from Russia in order to incorporate Cuban citizens living there and even some living in Cuba, into the military forces that participate in military operations in Ukraine. Attempts of this nature have been neutralized and criminal proceedings have been initiated against those involved in these activities.

I don't mean to shame anyone into getting out there, there are a multitude of valid reasons to not be able to do anything locally. There may not even exist anything local for you to get involved in. Hey, just not wanting to or not being confident enough to do it are fine too.

My problem is how that decision is interpreted, so I am shaming the moral position of renunciation masquerading as a politics that is I think the most common feature of the leftists you see online. If that weren't the case you'd see a lot more activity irl because there are so many of these people online
