Okay, that's 2023. How is it right now with the current administration who wants a 'small government'?

Currently reading Keverjongen (original title: Beetle Boy) by M.G. Leonard. I find it enjoyable so far and am curious how the story'll end so that's a good sign.

I've already moved to other search engines as this AI slop really muddled the search results too much.

Lol, that dev seems to be a rollercoaster of actions if I check the discussion boards.

Apparently only 2 to 3 million travel to Mecca every year, that number is much lower than the lowest in this list (36.9M).

And for China, after covid the amount of visitors had decreased drastically. In 2024 about 32M people visited China, still lower than the lowest in this list. So it probably isn't really that much higher in 2025.

At least you get to wear the cooler shoes? The big sizes usually look so boring while the kids get all the fun!

One of my cats has problems with his gums. I give him kitty toothpaste every day, and sometimes even brush his teeth a bit. As long plaque won't form, he'll be fine my vet said.

Heh, there should be a game named President Unprotect. There's a bunch of bodyguards of which you are one. When actual danger arises, it's your task to prevent other bodyguards from protecting the president. 😁

Multiplying money is easy when you already have money. Not an art.

Isn't this the case in all of EU now? The Netherlands has the same. It works well if you know how to do it.

I had like almost 100 uncategorized bookmarks, and whatever was already categorized could use some finetuning as well. So I spent about 1-2 hours on making my browser's bookmark bar really neat.

I deleted bookmarks which weren't relevant anymore and added some more bookmark folders to make everything less cluttered. The sites I want to access quickly is only one click away, the rest is buried in folders. It's synced so everything is stored safely in the cloud.

I'm happy with this, I could still find my stuff but this is an improvement.
