In order to participate in the vast majority of active r/conservative threads (any tagged "Flaired Users Only", which 9 of the top 10 posts right now are), you need to first pass a mod purity test to prove you're "conservative enough", it's not a serious place and is mostly just dumb Facebook-tier memes and poor quality screenshots of news headlines or random tweets

Hexbear suffers from the nazi bar problem, they're not ALL tankies, but they sure do hang out with a lot of them
I just don't have the time to sus out who's who and it's much easier (and less massive-shock-image-spamming) to use an instance that's defederated with them
That's just not true
The GOP is sending their best
As a real American of color red blood born into the Ohio oblast of the American Union, I agree!
I mean I guess you're technically right, they didn't directly call them a fascist, they called them a neoliberal and then only compared them to Nazis
It's okay, I forgive you, we all make mistakes sometimes, I'm sure you'll have better luck next time you try to engage
If you're going to struggle this hard to follow along with expansions of your own analogies it would probably be best if you stopped using them, it's just making it harder on everyone else
Man this is your own analogy, do I really gotta explain it
If everyone is suddenly playing at the nuclear poker table, the chances of SOMEONE going all in each hand drastically increases, and if any one singular player goes bust, we ALL lose because the damn table explodes
Appeasement just kicks the can down the road (and makes things much worse in the future), it's vital that we not make playing nuclear poker appealing by letting countries get away with shit even if they do have nukes
It's okay if you don't understand the analogy
When everyone has nukes, all it takes is one country busting for us all to lose
It is pretty funny that the "part of lemmy" in question immediately pops up and calls them a fascist though, proving the point
A TOS doesn't give you the legal right to destroy someone's property... At worst they could deny service
Yeah, lowering prices by itself isn't evidence that it was just greed all along, they conceivably could be lowering prices to the point that sales on those items are no longer profitable in order to shed inventory because some money (at a loss) is better than no money (at an even bigger loss)
