The only one I ever found in 2 years of pihole use was cdn.cookielaw.org.. a good percentage of sites won't display with it blocked. Most other stuff is fine.

When I first installed pihole I went overboard with blocklists and broke nearly everything.. don't do that :p

Never seen it at all.. I presume it's only some users currently.

You know which site you're getting it from..check the SSL certificate and that's enough. If an official site got breached it'd be found out pretty quickly.

They lost them automatically already.. they're simply not getting them back from the new king. I'm not sure why they're so shocked..

Any company that, as they claim, needs that approval to survive didn't have much of a product to start with.

It's bad practice to stay in a root shell because it's easy to screw up and break something. That's why sudo exists.. you only run something privileged if it absolutely has to.

It's part of Play services, so most phones will get it.

Or a fine of 6% of global revenue, which isn't small.

I'm in my mid 50s now and I haven't got more racist.. I've got angrier that things that were wrong in my youth are still wrong now, angrier at politicians that claim to represent me spouting racist bullshit. But if anything I'm more left wing than I was, and I'm definitely more liberal than I was 10 years ago.

It's built into the OS since apple and google agreed common standards for tag detection.

The google compatible tags (which aren't launched yet, possibly because of stuff like this) will be detected by apple devices too.

If you want to experiment with UEFI you don't need systemd-boot either, just create an efi bootable kernel and direct boot it. reFind is still around I think too for graphical boot (although that's mainly used by macs.. apple users like guis :p).

You can use a decimal number as well. It's rare to see that form of URL though.

I made mine deliberately incompatible by disabling the fTPM but started getting the upgrade prompts recently.
