It's disgusting that their argument is that if you are not in favor of their draconian war on civil liberties then you are a pedophile. That's what they are saying, and I hate that it works so well on the general public.

Thank you for the reasonable take. Clearly it resonated with people. I think that's the way to moderate- even if it isn't a perfect fit, if enough people on the sub feels like it is, it's reasonable to let it be, in my opinion.
Every time I quit drinking I remember all the reasons I drank in the first place.
I don't know if its content overall that's taken such a dive over the years that I basically stopped consuming TV shows, film and music, or if it's fundamentally crippling depression and existential angst brought on by the onslaught of global fascism. Feels like we're all flies spastically circling the drain.
