This is a key feature of why it's such a refreshing space. I have argued about stupid shit with so many people in my life and I'm sick of it. I thought debate was useful, and it is, but there comes a point where the sides know what side they are on and talking is useless.

Thanks for this comment, I consider myself an anarchist and sometimes feel worried about the judgement from other socialists if they have certain ideas about anarchists. I've thought a lot about it but I feel the same way about the distinction these days, any organic political movement will have a syncretism of ideas anyway.

If you were actually concerned about killing someone with your airstrike, wouldn't you warn them in the fucking language they speak, in a way that actually reaches them???? I'm so fucking baffled at the psychology behind excusing what is going on.

Israel will strike an area and kill hundreds of people. If there are males 16-30 killed they will say they were militants often, and that the civilians were collateral damage due to the use of proximity shielding. They do not go in and verify whether or not the people killed were militants. This is an age old tactic, the US would do the same to shift blame for atrocities in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Is there any source for that idea, or that this is actually happening? The only source for this article are US officials, who are full-throated allies of Israel, so there likely could be a bias. Telegraph is widely known as biased.
