They actually hate the people in the city more than anyone from out of state, a lot of Seattle PD don't even live in Seattle proper. If Ken Paxton came to say hello they would probably welcome him with a BBQ.

I think so, at least partially, average German citizens did know what was happening, plenty of people did resist, especially earlier on, with the brutality of the Nazis it's hard to say if they could have done more.
Today I don't think there is a politician who would have much of a chance to win that wouldn't support Israel at least as much as Biden, so I would say a person doesn't share much blame just for voting. We can vote for whoever but there is more we can do, like boycotting companies that support Israel or organizing actions aimed at stopping arms shipments.
Refusing to call for a ceasefire at the least is supportive of continuing atrocities. It is atrocious to support the Israeli state at this point and has been for years.
I didn't say they should do things because they feel good, but it's natural to feel good if you've done something that helps others. My mom drilled it in my head well, that we do what's right because it's the right thing to do, not for any reward even praise or celebrity or whatever.
People doing something SHOULD feel good, because they are trying, even if it fails, if that's a 'cope' than whatever. Would you rather the world burn and everyone still be a dick?
Well yes, I am part of the 'radical left', and proudly so, by that mean I believe in healthcare, food and a place to live for all people regardless of any qualifier and think the political/economic systems in place now will not achieve that.
I agree the average conservative is not a believer in that sort of antisemitism, but it's not uncommon. In the terms of US politics, social media platforms do have a left bias, from a more global perspective though they are center or center-right, and overall just do whatever will protect their profits. Reddit, Twitter, others will ban left-wing and anti-capitalist groups and allow their algorithms to push content they know encourages far-right violence because it generates more activity.
From "Skeleton performing zazen" by Maruyama Okyo, I had a better source for it but I can't find it now. I just like the happy skeleton :> and it feels true to my self-image
It's been working for the last six+ years too, even my grandma in conservative land has called him a nazi since he first ran. If anyone isn't paying attention to his Nazi rhetoric now it's because they got bored of it.
I am nearly convinced there will be an even bigger attack on the government by far-right reactionaries no matter what the results of the next election are. Biden or another dem wins and it's obviously stolen, insurrection time, or Trump wins and traitors are stalling his progress, purging time.
I don't think most of us here are laughing, a motivating factor to move away from places like Instagram and Reddit for me was their habit of ignoring far-right activity while punishing left activity. Some of us here are active on the internet in part because we know there are a lot of Nazis active too.
For anyone curious the history really is interesting, when reading previously I learned about Pfeilstorch, storks throughout the years that had flown to Germany with African arrows stuck in them. First seen at a time when people didn't understand bird migration, it helped to explain where all the birds would go.
Okay sure, but by mocking and dehumanizing trans people he encourages violence against them which is already a massive issue for trans people. But I love comedy, other than bigoted it's just lazy and played out and comes across like an old dude mad at scary new changes in society.
