In anti-police protests I've seen, a decent amount of the black bloc-ers appeared to be women, seen many a woman waving an anarcho-communist flag or the hammer and sickle, at least where I've been young women seem more politically active in general, and I tend to be in more left areas so I've seen plenty of true left women.

Well it helps maintain the anonymity when your comrade is just letting whatever bozo off the street into your cell!
How often do you ride the subway? Thousands of people take the subway in NYC everyday of all income levels, it's a pretty big success.
That's a problem with the infrastructure and transit policy, not the technology. I can't afford a car, where I'm at I'm able to take a train to cities nearby, I can take a free shuttle to the train station or bike because it's not very far. In the past in the US at least there were more train and tram routes, when cars because more prevalent cities stopped developing the infrastructure, but if done properly it can be superior to driving.
I know right, a plane ride will take me exactly to her house! What kind of logic is this? Can you recommend a method to travel across the US to visit my grandma that wouldn't require me paying or being restricted in where I could go? That is how modern travel works in every form.
Also anyway when I take the train I could take a bike with me and bike the rest of the way, or in my city there is a free shuttle from the train station to the center of downtown, with buses every direction from there, any many bigger cities have light-rails or subways that connect from train stations. And it's healthy to walk, people have walked for thousands of years.
This libness could probably be diffused with better education on the Vietnam war. As a kid I was indoctrinated into loving the army and such as many Americans are, but I learned on my own how the US lied to get into Vietnam, and about all the regime changes and massacres etc, and from that age around 7 or 8 I viewed everything from that lens, that the US military was actually just a greedy monster.
I think it's hard for people to accept that there really are people within the US' power structure so blood-thirsty that they will gladly allow thousands of Palestinians or whoever to be killed for profit or whatever delusion they have. It's so far from a normal rational way of behaving.
Well he does have glasses, maybe he pulled it down to ensure they didn't fog up at a crucial moment
We need one more step, with Booth replaced with that classic image of Yamagami, I'd do it myself but I don't really care that much
I've heard plenty of libs argue the same position on border control as repubs essentially, usually they frame it like "we don't have endless resources to help everyone, as much as we'd like to" versus something like "we seized drugs and stopped ILLEGALS!" Maybe they are tired of trying to differentiate themselves from right-wingers.
When I was looking through the discussion hub for it there are so many banned accounts lol. It's a 'joke' only as much as people say they were joking when they say 'jews control the media' or something, it's full of racist memes.
But that's not always the case. Plenty of kids can take in media or just life observations and make their own conclusions, it's true though a lot of their views are just what their hear from adults around them. I think that's true of adults too to a lesser extent.
It might be part of the culture, but there is a class of people with substantially more wealth who are able to direct legislation to cause people to be charged like this pastor. The vast majority of people I think anywhere on earth would believe you should help the needy, but the average people don't have a say like the wealthy class does, and this class has it's own distinct culture which praises greed and growth.
