I haven't seen the original yet but the DS9 version of that episode was great, I was impressed they even used old style lenses and film to recreate the style of the 60s episode. It also made me realize "huh, William Shatner is kinda hot isn't he?" Ahah. I'll watch the original series eventually, I have a lot to catch up on lol.

That's the one, I personally dislike even the smallest of spoiler so I was being vague haha. I enjoyed it though, I never watched any Trek at all before this and I'm so hooked lol.
Legitimately, there was a revolutionary spirit I could feel that was dissipated when Biden was elected. Motivated people were beginning to turn away from the capitalist status quo, but then Biden wins and the energy became "thank god the adults are back, we can ignore everything again."
The first election I voted in was a vote for the 'lesser evil'. It's been that way since. Maybe we could try, idk, a non-evil candidate? The evil has somehow grown steadily every time we've elected a 'lesser evil'. Maybe there is something better we could do than legitimize evil. I'm not saying not vote, but clearly we need a rework of this whole thing.
I agree with you, there isn't truly a 'normal person,' we all do suffer from the affliction of life and having an intellect. I also agree that we should embrace the odd differences, how boring would a homogenous world be?
What I'm referring to is different than difficult emotional states though, my brain interprets the world in different ways and I have different and more intense responses to stimuli. I've learned to cope with the emotional aspect, but it is difficult to put into words the way my brain operates and how that affects my action.
It feels like I'm trying to walk with no legs sometimes, if I was actually wheelchair bound it would be clear, but it isn't even clear to me what is happening internally.
Reading about wars in the past it seemed like evidence, image and popular opinion at least sort of mattered. Now it seems like nothing that comes out, no truth or popular movement can change what the imperialists will do except for direct force. Though this evidence will be useful when there are trials for the genocide.
I agree with what you're saying, though It can be difficult to tell from the outside how much help a person needs. I 'act' normal and feel like I have to pretend to be someone else, most people would probably assume I'm 'normal', this can make things complicated for friends and family that don't see the level of internal struggle. Especially when my brain tells me I must not be seen as abnormal, I must do everything I can to maintain the image of being normal.
There's a Star Trek ds9 episode where a non-human alien gets sent back in time to 1947. They discover on their sensors the radiation from the continual nuclear bomb tests and are horrified that the humans would irradiate their own planet. I just recently became a 'trekkie' and I get it, it really has some of the best themes and plots in sci-fi
Are you trying to destroy America? He may be old but he was not a member of the German National Socialist Party therefore he can't be a nazi, so you better vote for him or we're all dead already.
For anyone that doesn't want to click but likes words, it's French for 'novel with a key', as in if you know the key you can understand the underlying allegory.
Last I was on Twitter a couple years ago there were antifascist pages that did that, the ones I followed were banned while the fascist 'antifa watch' pages I've seen are promoted. But I agree, Twitter won't work for it anymore but we should have some kind of fascist watchlist.
I've thought about the deck of cards of terror suspects the US had, with higher members of Al Qaeda or whatever, we should have that for the top fascist politicians and war mongers. It should be well known the names and faces of the people pushing us off the cliff.

~~edit: damnit why can't I put tons of spaces between the words, they get removed when I post it lol~~
double edit: okay that's kind of better
Good statement though, I like how they point out the police cracking down aren't from Emory, so they are really the 'outside agitators'
