Funny, in this 'drama' hex voted against defederation and voiced support for dbzer0 users. The bans from hex admins seemed reasonable if you look at the event history.

Which is why hex voted against defederation ahah, hex and dbzer0 users are largely allies from what I've seen so it's kind of funny the admin is banned.
I haven't read the book The Body Keeps the Score but I've heard good things about it, discussing how trauma can effect us physically.
In Buddhist teaching it's said every emotional state has a physical counterpart, but meditating you can improve awareness of the body to more easily analyse mental states, but meditation can cause distress for some if not applied properly.
I use this in a positive way, you can practice generating the feeling in your stomach associated with wholesome love, like imagining hugging a dog you love or another and focusing on the physical feeling that arises. (The general practice is called metta meditation, or loving-kindness) It can help alleviate anxiety.

This is a good post, also it makes me think of how often food becomes some sort of cultural talking point too. Conservatives talk about being shamed for eating burgers, the youth is poor because of avocado toast.
I think one of the biggest things to encourage better treatment for immigrants in the US is just a reminder that the US agricultural system would collapse if we suddenly deported all undocumented immigrants. Even the most rabid conservative has to admit he would pay more for food if he kicked out the people who bring it to him.
That's why I liked a common chant at some protests in 2020, "Fuck Trump, Fuck Biden too, they don't give a fuck about you". Some conservative observers might have been like "what? I thought all commies were loyal troops of the Biden new world order?"

I just don't understand the use of tankie, maybe individuals have a consistent use for it but if I see it used anymore I generally think that person doesn't know wtf they are talking about.
As a dbzero user, there is much cringe from this instance, but I agree this would be very funny. I have seen the admin posts downvoted even on dbzero comms ahah.
I haven't listened to it, I got a bad vibe from him in 2020 when he was silent for months and then came out with an underwhelming track saying something like silence is complicity, like he hadn't been silent and unseen anywhere. But maybe he isn't so bad, it was a vibes based analysis.
I swear 90% of the people deriding hexbear were offended by one post and never went back or saw a post that was entirely full of sarcastic comments and thought it was unironic. I'm not even ML, I call myself an anarchist and argue about all kinds of shit on hexbear and I have found it to be a very caring community, and actually doesn't tolerate transphobia or imperialist apologia unlike most online spaces.
