That might be true in the US, but that is certainly untrue in other parts of the world, where college/university is way cheaper/free and the pay difference a degree makes can be huge.

I live in Germany and I think it almost always pays off to ge to university, at least if you are interested in anything even close to MINT.
And even in non MINT areas a higher degree opens many doors that otherwise are really hard to get into.

Not that I disagree with you.

But even as a staunch Euro leftist, I think it is okay that there are people I strongly disagree with, even strongly dislike because I think the fight for values that are against my personal morality.

Both Romney and Cheney are such people.
I don't think they should have political power over other people.

But they share at least a certain common ground with me that the fascists don't.
And for how little I actually like those people, I still value this very difference.

That's just wrong for the simple reason that NATO is vastly superior in any form of conventional warfare.

NATO against russia would be nothing like WW2.
It would be a one sided beating.

And russia would lose and lose fast.

But russia would still have no incentive to be the first to launch nukes, because that would change the situation from bad to total annihilation.

Disclaimer ich bin kein Jurist, aber ein Jurist hat es mir mal so erklärt.

Legalisierung bezeichnet es, wenn ein Tatbestand der vorher rechtswidrig (=illegal, aufgrund von irgendeiner rechtlichen Grundlage, das kann auch das StGB sein, muss aber nicht) war, dies nun nicht mehr ist.
Das ist für den Besitz von Cannabis hier der Fall.
Wie du korrekt feststellst, ist das für den Handel hier nicht der Fall.

Entkriminalisierung ist eigentlich ein Begriff, der verwendet wird, wenn ein Tatbestand der vorher aufgrund einer Regelung des Strafgesetzbuch im speziellen verboten war (=kriminell) das nun nicht mehr ist.
In der Regel spricht man von einer Entkriminalisierung als speziellerem Begriff im Vergleich zu Legalisierung dann, wenn der Tatbestand allerdings rechtswidrig bleibt. Oftmals weil der Tatbestand heruntergestuft wird zu einer Ordnungswidrigkeit.
Ich meine, das ist in anderen Ländern passiert, in Deutschland allerdings überhaupt nicht.

Also ja der Besitz wird legalisiert (streng genommen war er auch kriminell, also schon auch entkriminalisiert, aber eben nicht nur).
Und am Verkauf hat sich gar nichts geändert.

Daher hat sich in vielen Medien die Bezeichnung Teillegalisierung durchgesetzt und Entkriminalisierung nicht.
In meinen Augen zurecht.

Falls mir das allerdings falsch oder unzureichend erklärt wurde, lerne ich auch gerne nochmal dazu.

It's basic game theory, you never choose the option that has you lose absolutely everything, even if the alternative has you lose something big (like a war, or even your life).

And not even Putin can launch a nuke on his own. Even he needs generals and engineers that all know that not only they themselves will die if they obey, also their families will die, everyone they know will die if they obey.

We will never see full scale nuclear war, because noone at all could ever want that.

But Putin benefits from rubes just letting him bully everyone around him because, boo hoo he is so crazy and scary and after so many crossed red lines the next one surely is the one that makes him suicide himself, his wife, his daughter, his country, his place in history and anyone or anything he ever valued or cared about.
