I purchased a 15 pro max for my mom and i noticed this blue thing in the lens looks like dust and shines what can this be in the front lens in c/apple@hardware.watch

that's just a reflection on the lens elements, it's 100% normal.

I've seen people with way more photos than this. I have relatives who take probably 3-5k photos per year + a few dozen hours of video and never delete any since their first iphone.

Whats with the absurd backorder on the 15 pros? in c/apple@hardware.watch

These all came out long before supply chain woahs in the last 3 years, Apple has struggled to keep the most popular models stocked since then. Also every year the iPhone becomes more complex - bigger camera sensors, faster and brighter screens, industry first smaller processor nodes, denser batteries, etc. - so initial yields will be lower until they perfect the manufacturing processes for new technologies.
