Man it's like someone took a marker to the eyes and started to cross them out. I keep feeling like it should be a complete x across them.

Just doing some late night chores. Who are we to complain?
Hey, the owls will forgive you cheating on them with the hawks. XD
Besides, rescuers and zookeepers absolutely have their favourites so no one can blame you for preferences. And it's always great when you can bond with them. Makes it feel better.
Always love a follow up especially when it's good news. Despite a shitty start it's a clean finish!
Now that's an owl with an attitude.
That looks very painful. Plus some owls use their feet for so much it must really hinder things. Glad they got into the right place to get better.
I love how we can just search up anything now. Still have to dodge the sketchy sourced ones but truly all of human knowledge at our fingertips so we can answer all our burning questions at any time of the day is amazing.
Oh I would never put down the efforts and commitment of people who dedicate themselves to animal rescue. It can be thankless and heartbreaking sometimes.
And humans really are the number one affector of the environment so any bit we can do to recover is good.
All the best to Webby indeed!
The eternal why. All kids have that phase. Even animal kids.
A rare condition and the ability to fix it. It's nice to read when human intervention actually is positive since our species has already done a lot of wrecking so this feels like harm reduction.
I hope the owl lives a long time. I wonder if it's genetically passed down though. Might end up cultivating owls that have that.
That surprised face is probably going to last for quite a while. Poor owl.
At least it didn't become hawk food so there's a bit of luck.
Just wanna say thanks for sharing this baking tip. It's so interesting that chilling the dough can make such a difference. I gotta try it some day.
