Trump is trying to protect some industries with tariffs, not realizing that nationalism brings problems and people stay away, hurting tourism.

It also implies that he knows that the island was just a honeypot brothel of underage girls and that everyone who went there is complicit.

Colbert is rich, he'll be alright. He'll continue his comedy shtick in another format; there are enough media startups looking for content.

A serial number on all tires, and registration. Can't have millions of tires a year just dumped.

I like the idea, but it's not the reality. The current street is only 4 lanes wide, your example is 8 lanes wide.

The best solution is to remove two lanes, and hand them over as dedicated bus lanes. Not to use paint, but to have a physical way of keeping cars out of those lanes. Increase the amount to stops, so people can hope on/off easily. This would become an amazing street, with lots of little stores, bars, restaurants etc... Do it to the 401 as Dufferin is congested till the 401.

England had Brexit, USA had Trump, we'll open constitutional talks and start tearing the country apart. The era of shooting yourself in the foot.

...and the crap that makes these people happy; loud obnoxious cars and boats, McMansions, guns, are all really detrimental to everyone else.

Can we ban on street parking anywhere south of Lawrence.

That's a nice looking house. I hope that it doesn't get torn down. We can build density, and keep cool old houses like this. It's not one or the other.

We'll post a new office address each morning at 8 a.m., if you're not in by 9 a.m. you're fired. Good luck, and god speed.

Why is it legal to use?

"beryllium is safely used commercially in numerous products"..why is this legal. Did nobody think about fires?

"..total goods consumed has to e down at this point", is the problem. People just do less; it's also vicious circle. Once housing and food are paid, very little is left. Manufacturing slides, and everyone wants to be a landlord. Increasing the cost of housing. With people buying fewer things, their is less choice. A couple of big monopolies take over the few remaining industries, and over even less choice, as they make cuts. Without disposable time/income, people join fewer clubs, and have fewer hobbies. Wood working, pottery, all cost a fortune.

Since the 1960s America has taxed light trucks being imported. Because America didn't have to build light trucks to compete internationally they lost the international market on light trucks. Now nobody wants to buy American cars and trucks because they are not as good as what others countries build. So now America has put up high tariffs to make itself even more isolationist, since they can't compete.

N. American cars are garbage. Our garbage car economy is garbage.

What about all the other industries?

Ridings in Ontario were historically about 5000 people, with very large ridings hitting 8,000, and nothing in the double digits. Today ridings are 100,000 people.

Look at the difference between 1908 and 2022 Ontario general election, in Toronto.

1908 Ontario general election Toronto South - Conservative win with 5,202 votes of 6,965 cast (75% of the vote). 74.69

2022 Ontario general election Toronto Centre - NDP won with 15,285 votes of 34,921 cast (43.77% of the vote).

Looking for someone that has a hobbyist website that posts to it guitar lessons.

I'm trying to stay away from Youtube, as it is too hard to sort through so many videos, and many of them are just ads for courses.

Love old website and blogs, from the before social media times.
