Because of the number of potential words in the dictionary, it's still fairly secure. I would recommend 5 or 6 words though

Is it? Is it really? I have about 50tb total in storage, and I'm fairly budget conscious. I know people who have hundreds of TB storage.

300TB is in range of what a normal middle class person can put together on a hobby basis.

Unfortunately, the larger models are way too big to run client-side.

There is some hope. Mistral is pretty incredible for it's size, and it's a 7b model. There are finetunes on top of that which makes it even better - my favorite right now is Open Hermes 2

There's still room for improvement, and it's getting better and better.

We live a few stone throws away from the biggest military base in this part of the country. I usually joke that we'll either be the first or the last to go if there's a war.

However, terrorists attacking that would be "putting your dick in a fire ants nest" level of stupid.

Fee'ing fee. You thought all these fees were free?

Microsoft doesn't want non-PC stuff being associated with the Bing brand.

You mean bing, the porn Google? Yeah, that might be a tad too late

Huh.. I've had really good experience with z2m and an El cheapo stick from China (~7 dollars)

I'm not using it with home assistant though, using node red for "smarts"

There are already specialized robots just for that

Every "AI generated" image you see online is curated like that. Yet none of them are called "artist using generative AI tools".

Maybe steam deck could be an alternative? Hardware itself is more expensive, but there's so much good cheap or even free games.
