Because you're seeing the results of a decades long plan to brainwash their citizens into always voting against their own best interests.

It started with gutting mental health services, then they moved on to defunding education. That let them sell their people on all of the blatantly obvious lies.

You can thank Reagan for that, just like most of the other major issues with the country.

Nah, they just want the mod teams back until they can recruit a team of sycophants to replace them.

This is no different than your old job calling you a week after you quit offering you more money to come back.

You don't have to guess at it. There are sites out there that you can plug a reddit username in and it'll spit out super creepy levels of personal information.

Or, at least they used to exist, but I haven't looked in like 8 years.

My wife is going through that journey at the moment. It's surprisingly hard to find a therapist who doesn't just whip out the DSM and say she can make eye contact so she's not autistic.

That's a really stupid take.

A diagnosis is very important because almost all mental/personality/executive functioning disorders share similar symptoms (anxiety, depression, etc.), but require different approaches for treatment.

It's very possible for someone to be diagnosed with ADHD and depression when really they're bipolar 2, and common depression medications (SSRIs) can have extremely adverse reactions with bipolar disorder.

It's also super common for women to not be diagnosed with autism, but instead be given a laundry list of other diagnoses instead.

A proper diagnosis is imperative to getting the right treatment, whether that's meds, therapy, or self help.

My shrink told me he regularly has middle age people break down and start crying when they get their diagnosis. I guess thinking you're a lazy piece of shit your whole life has a bit of a negative emotional impact, lol.

Eh, I never thought the GOP would actually overturn abortion rights because it's such an effective red herring to get their base to keep voting against their best interests, but here we are.

Ask them if you can just come into their house at random and start pawing through their underwear drawer.

I mean, it's underwear. Almost everyone wears it, so what do they have to hide?

My assumptions on how a genesis style tank was wicked was wrong. I thought the cable replaced the cotton instead of just drawing the liquid up to the top so the cotton didn't have to go in the tank.

I haven't been able to find any pictures of the coil wrapped around the cable, but here's a product picture of the cable.

Edit: I may have misunderstood the wicking method for the genesis style tanks. I didn't realize the cables didn't touch the coil, but just wick the liquid up to the surface so the cotton doesn't have to go all the way in the tank.

Pretty much anything is machine washable if you do it right.

What you really have to be careful about is the dryer.

Exactly, and processing power in small chips is insane now. You can run Doom on a damn bios chip now.

Hell, my esp8266s can run a basic web server and login portal without breaking a sweat.
