Definitely true, which is why I included that line.
But, the truth is that if you're not doing well enough as a server to hit minimum wage in tips, you're probably going to get let go anyways. It's stupid easy to get minimum wage in tips.

No, cocaine was for black people in the 50s and 60s. Crack wasn't a thing yet. Crack was another way they came up with to put black people in prison, but that was in the 80s.
The aeropress is actually what got me away from drip brewers, but I drink way too much coffee for it to be my main method. It was nice to use when I was working out of the office, though.
I'm about to do an experiment on which immersion brewing method is best. My plan is to 5 different brews in 8oz mason jars: boiling water and short steep (normal), boiling water and 24h steep, sun coffee (just letting it sit in the sun all day), room temperature 24h steep, and fridge 24h steep. I'm betting option 2 is the worst.
Yes, your router can likely act as a VPN server, but I would definitely have a hardware firewall if you're going to be exposing ports to the public internet.
Also, a wifi adapter for the server is going to be better than a powerline adapter. What I did for my home lab was bought some cheap Netgear routers and turned them to bridge mode and hooked all 4 ports from the server to the router.
Lol, he's not going to be convicted for treason. I guarantee that his lawyers will successfully argue mental incompetency, which isn't even close to a lie.
My stove top kettle and French press make better coffee than any machine I've ever used.
Alcohol consumption was like 800% higher before prohibition happened. It seems silly today, but alcohol abuse was a super rampant issue in the early 1900s.
Marijuana was so they could arrest hippies. Cocaine was so they could arrest black people.
Source: one of the guys responsible for the war on drugs straight up said it.
History is cyclical if large chunks of the population refuse to acknowledge it.
Because people are fucking stupid
Waiters and waitresses still get paid minimum wage (not tipped minimum) if their tips and wages are less than minimum wage.
Well, they're supposed to at least.
The problem with your scenario is that you're assuming an increase in payroll expenses will have enough of an affect on the company's profit margin for them to go negative.
This is almost never the case, and if your business can't survive without paying slave wages, then your business doesn't deserve to survive.
The truth is that companies don't want to raise wages because they're on a quest to hoard as much wealth as possible. Just look. The country is in a recession and corpos are reporting record profits.
