It's been so long since there was an actual violent uprising in the western world that I think the ruling class actually believes that they're immune from the guillotines. Or they think that they've placated the population enough with social media so a violent uprising isn't possible.

Isn't that what happened after she was arrested in Germany (iirc)?

Are they fucking stupid? It seems like they're intentionally setting up a martyr.

I'm not disagreeing with her message at all, because I think she's 100% on the right track. I just can't see a scenario where someone approved that arrest, especially since she only got more popular after the last one.

Unless they're intentionally trying to boost her popularity, which would be nice.

It is the international symbol of hospitality.

I definitely got lucky by having a good boss (most of the time, but he was bipolar so every so often you got screamed at for no reason).

And yeah, I actually did a lot of work to help with the hit by a bus scenario because everything was so siloed when I started.

I feel like the US shouldn't work with a fascist dictatorship that's actively committing genocide, especially in the current political climate.

I went from a admin to Sr engineer, so it was a promotion, but I was really doing the job of engineer before the promotion.

They're also at the mercy of nature and all it entails. And nature is fucking brutal.

Hits bail needs to be revoked.

It would unless they started banning VPN IPs. I guess Musk is stupid enough to do it

Not necessarily. My skill set made me the right choice for the new position. It was more of a job title change than anything.

I do suspect that my boss never submitted the pip to HR, though. He never submitted any of the other 'disciplinary actions' he performed over the 7 years I worked for him.

He knew anyone older could kick his ass.
