Yep. As long as all the money is flowing up the system will be corrupt, and the managers aren't willingly going to interrupt that flow. So we will have to have a "meeting" with them and "parley".

Democratic lawmakers aren't going to save us. That party has also been taken over by corpo fascist billionaires.

No I'm not saying both sides are the same. Just that what's happening right now is class warfare, the elite control the democratic party too. They aren't going to save us from themselves.

I don't think they believe it. It's just an alternative fact to argue. They don't give a shit about the people of Venezuela.

Yes, the police go around shooting and abducting people and taking their possessions, but if we didn't have them we'd have gangs going around shooting and abducting people and taking their possessions.

I feel like we are just a few years away from having to have papers to be alive.

I mean if not having them can already get you sent to a prison camp in a foreign country for life, or if being a citizen of the wrong country can get you killed in your sleep and then the empire will act as if you didn't ever exist, it really isn't a stretch.

I dunno. If I think about how many of my friends were sports betting 15 years ago vs today it's at least 10x today. I feel like that was caused by market availability not a change in demand. They would've always bet if it was this easy to do and if it becomes hard again they'll stop.

More legalized. Lobbying was already legalized bribery. Citizens United was just them making sure they get to pick who they bribe.

Yes, technically it's known as Might Makes Right, or We Have The Bigger Stick. Very similar to Give Me Your Lunch Money or I'll Beat You Up.
