Videogames. Most of them assume an unreasonable amount of time to enjoy a fraction of the content, AND they are expensive as hell... I'm defaulting to stuff that is fun from the start or short indie titles

I think The Sopranos could have written the last season so we get more theories for who did it in the ending. It's basically only Paulie or "some NY guy" and that's it

Getting back into some jazz. After spending most of the last 6 months listening to classical only, I seem to have become more capable of discerning melodic themes and variations, so jazz sounds waaay better now

It's trending backwards tbh. Last year I got most of my friends to use Signal, but they for some reason uninstalled en masse this month

Free speech shouldn't be a thing and the countries that go furthest with this "right" are dying because of it (looking at you, USA). Before anyone says "what about when it's your opponents controlling the speech?": they already do where I live and with my beliefs, and I still think it's within the rights of the government to control speech

We also need people sharing their niche interests and creating discussion... Reddit thrives on these small communities that only find an accessible entrypoint on their platform.

Streaming services have had a noticeable negative impact on adults, in my experience most notably Gen Xers, which I see abandon lifelong hobbies to consume more netflix slop. We just aren't meant to have so many hours of passive entertainment available at the tip of our fingers
