Just looking at the visuals you can tell the tone is off. This is not a cutesy story with teacup pigs

I miss Facebook style reactions so much, one of the best features they came up with. It's a shame everything else was garbage, including the company hahahaha
Drip I take with no sweetener, espresso I'll generally sweeten a little
Is it regressive, though? In the context of alternative transportation being readily available, I'd think willingness to drive and pay the fare is positively correlated with wealth. Not the case in many US cities, and in those cases I agree with your point
No issue there, though... If that is what's happening, congestion pricing essentially added a tax on rich people, which is always desirable
In the mornings I'll usually read news while enjoying a cup of coffee and a Zyn, too, forgot to mention that
Does finance count? I'm usually studying something in the alternative data space (that is, using non-financial data to make decisions on investments) so I can, in the end, make a presentation or deliver a product to someone. For example, an analyst decides to study a clothing company and asks me to scrape their prices in the main Latin American markets (because he thinks they can grow there or something). So I do that for a while and report back to him what I found. If it is interesting, I may be tasked with implementing something in our Excel add-in so he can plug that information into his own models, or I'll need to develop a model myself.
Lots of spacing out, browsing lemmy and playing bullet chess on my phone, too
The use of "literally" is part of the figure of speech you're pedantically referring to. Saying "figuratively" would be redundant, as everyone knows Copilot is not a nuclear reactor, and also declaring that you are using a figure of speech "weakens" it (like /s for sarcasm). By saying "literally" they are saying "wow, this fits so well that this isn't even a metaphor anymore".
If you want to correct everyone for saying literally instead of figuratively, correct every teenager saying "I'm actually dying rn 😂" with "ackshually you're not ACTUALLY dying, as I can see you are still alive typing tips fedora"
I switched to Fedora KDE a couple years ago and am happy, but the desktop Linux experience does have it's rough edges. Do research and experiment before you make the full switch
Attack on Titan got me into Gundam. It is basically a ripoff, but the aesthetics carry it so hard I don't even care
Most of that stuff is better handled in the manga. One Pace can't fix the bad soundtrack, animation and such that plagued the series from the start. It doesn't turn into a character drama or anything, I think the online fandom exaggerates that aspect of the series to get people to start watching... But it is better
I'm late but it did happen in a wednesday. Played a duet session of the TTRPG Delta Green with my SO, and added an extremely forward male NPC to help her character out, which lended itself perfectly to me making her flustered irl and lightening up the mood, and also helped with the combat sections and parts where she might have felt stuck. Pretty great session!
