Well just think about it. You're talking about some underground network of tunnels that can shuttle hundreds of thousands of people per day from place to place, probably noisy and dirty, probably full of homeless people, and you'd have to have constant signs and announcements telling people where to go.
That's just madness, and no sane person would stand for it.

My landlord is a farmer. He's out on the fields everyday. Comes to fix our boiler with his hands covered in fresh chicken shit. The rent is expensive, but it could be much worse considering.
Its because there are some that believe that their freedom does not encroach on the freedoms of other, and need a polite reminder that their actions have consequences, and that we're all part of a larger whole, no matter how much we pretend otherwise.

I'm a late Scotsman, you could say. I contribute a lot to the genius annotations of their lyrics on their later stuff, so the obsession is there... but their early stuff just doesn't hold for me.
Its a bit like saying you're a Lovecraft fan, but not being a fan of his earlier stuff when his writing was a little bit immature and not fully fleshed out, despite being completely new at the time.

Its just such a slow grimey album for me. Compare it to their later stuff which is arguably more poppy and whiney, but actually carries some speed and energy with it. Personal opinion.
Kbin would be awesome. Thunder is amazing as it is though
