Persians have you beat:
It ostensibly entailed trapping the victim between two boats, feeding and covering them with milk and honey, and allowing them to fester and be devoured by insects and other vermin over time.
It doubles in size every few seconds though
I think every language needs a please
operator, which acts to enforce human expectation of a statement:
'1' + '1' ## evaluates to '11'
please '1' + '1' ## evaluates to '2'
far away from Silicon Valley
That helps a lot. If the CEO mixes in those circles, the only way for the CEO to survive (i.e. be taken seriously by their CEO peers) is to bump their salary significantly and develop some kind of rallying ethos to separate them from other startups. It turns into a heavy peacocking game where the only way to survive is to flex the hardest.
Startup CEO's can very quickly divorce themselves from their worker peers just by trying to survive in the SV CEO peer circle.
Just once I want '1' + '2'
to equal '3'
. Is that so much to ask?
Both sides are shitty. One side is being significantly more shitty without restraint. If you look at numbers, one side is doing considerably more harm than the other. If you look at individual acts of shittiness, then sure, under that squinted framing, both sides are equal.
"I keep getting this bug and I'm not sure about my inputs because it's a different branch oof my specific field. What does this mean?"
(Long mostly right answer that point me in the right direction)

exactly the spicey diarrhea jokes, as well as direct comparisons to vomit. American Dad and Family Guy writers spring to mind.
I will never tire of reading greentext fiction
