I don't understand the number of people in this thread who can't seem to enjoy their own company. Hell, I'm sad and depressed too when I'm alone, but I manage to get the laundry done and keep the lights on.

When I said "free" I meant you don't pay to have one, but you still need to feed and house them, as you would yourself.

Having two for work and one (yourself) for travel seems like a good balance though.

I think safety is a huge thing. As a woman, I can imagine feeling less than secure in such a setting. As a man, it seems okay though

Getting found out is a legit problem if such thing were illegal, but just assume that your memories with your clone will be synced at the end of each day, and everyone who you want to know about your clones is cool with it.
