FUCK! Dude, I'm so sorry! I was helping my dad out today, and it was supposed to only take a few hours but then it got complicated and then my mum called and she was pissed that I was hanging with him, and you know how that is... look can we just tell people that we showed up and fought, and that I won, and that'll be the end of it

For anyone wondering: Alsa does sound card detection and basic IO at the kernel level, Pulse takes ALSA devices and does audio mixing at the user/system level. Pipe does what Pulse does but more and even includes video devices
