Not sure if the rpi3 can use the 64bit version, or if it's possible for it use an SSD like the the 4 can?

Depends on the model. While some offer bios updates over ip, not all do. That would really be the only thing talking out.

Went with random creation. Unfortunately I skipped over the slider customizations. Stuck with a male character. Though the height slider was already cranked up.

Tried to go for a melee build, but stats favored int. So, I've been going with a Netrunner build (IT).

So, you're saying there's a chance :p

The sentiment for me here, is any overall betterment of portable power is good. Yea the article and this specific tech is presented in an overhyped fashion, no doubt.

My grampa had a pacemaker that was.

Edit2: For the smoke detectors, i know its not what powers it per se, as far as the electronics that sound the alarm and such. More pointing out it contains radioactive material, and is something in every (hopefully) house, and you likely walk by it often.

What?! This is generationally agnostic. Going back to the 90's I can remember friends and family doing this or effectively the same thing cuz they just didn't want a picture taken at that moment. This article is just bait.

Nuclear power at small scale is already in use in devices. Some medical devices, smoke detectors etc. As long as there is proper shielding, the enclosure is robust enough, and the overall device is made easily serviceable, I'm all for it. I can understand the fear sentiment of anything flagged as radioactive, but radiation is all around us already. Idk, but the less we can ditch super toxic and explosive lithium the better.

Unpopular opinion, maybe, but Wayland has been just fine for me. All amd system, single monitor, on fedora since f37. Even before that, on other distros like Manjaro it was fine. I don't think I use anything that really cares what display management I use.

I can sympathize with those that this is an issue. As Wayland continues to becoming the standard.

That's a big potato

Generally I'll see it used for POS type machines, or relegated to a backend database that gets logged into for parts lookup or something. Have I seen Jimbo in accounting rocking Gentoo on the company PC. Never.

I've ran across a few professors at nearby colleges using it. Last I remember was a nuclear physicists prof using opensuse.

Is it worth having your credentials sold or stolen cuz people might think less of how they receive the same message in text form from you?

General rule of dual booting from the same drive: install windows first, then Linux.
