To be fair, there is and has been a KDE spin. I can see an argument for gnome, as it's overall the simpler environment. Simple defaults has been fedoras thing for a long time.
terminhell
Isn't this the topic Jayztwocents has talked about recently? AIB's making up their own defaults for cpu performance.
What's the threshold for quantum tunneling to be an issue? Cuz at such small scales, particles can...teleport through stuff.
It was and still is a few things: Mostly the cool factor. It's different, does what I tell it (safety be damned lol ).
Security: Mostly sane defaults (like not making the initial user with full admin rights).
In the early days, a major factor was being poorer, constantly rebuilding Frankenstein PCs that would trip Ms activation crap. And with so many used parts, performance was better too.
Stealing this for copypasta XD
I prefer KDE for desktops, but gnome for laptops. However I've been using gnome on my desktop for a while now. With some minor customizations it's fine.
Considering the KDE has normally been their flagship edition, I'm wager their working out the final touches.
Hell ya. Been looking forward to this update.
It'll look the same to normies lol
Parents, do better ffs
Are you sharing this drive with windows machines? It may be better to go exfat or something more neutral in that case.
