In maths "trivial" is usually when the author has a statement they could prove, but chose not to (either because is too obvious, stems from a result in another text, or is a lenghty proof)

The fun is that it applies both ways

Good, now I need to try it

Arranged marriages were very common throughout human history (and I believe it likely must still be in some places)

Which I'm sure some of them are, but not in the capacity that anyone wants them to be.

I laughed, then I cried :_(

Also, I'd like to point out that your reply to the allegations in the meme are very justified given the "is not even real" sentiment, using the "social construct" card to toss everying in the bin is a very much dumb take and it prevents any meaningful discussions

(But I get that the intention was to put it in a less "rigid" structure by pointing out we can change it)

I believe that economy can be both a social construct, and very much real

Yes, it is something created by humans that only makes sense in a social setting and doesn't have any ties to the natural world

Yes, it also is necessary and there can be "certain rules" with universal effect, but we are still able to shape the definitions and our views according to human necessity

As a minor gripe: planned capitalist economies are a thing (there is no contradiction in it whatsoever)

I see, the tiny wire I had was the problem then, it has multiple filaments that kept going off

I'll try this one today!

Someone in !mechanical_keyboards@programming.dev suggested a bodge wire, that's what I'll look into when I have more time (instead of relying on PCB traces) Given how much I already damaged the board (as seen in the picture), I hope this will be a safer method

Hmmm, you mean a special wire for soldering right? I was initially thinking in soldering some scraps from a copper cable I had laying around but quickly realized it was not going to work

Yeah, it is evident that I am very bad at this hahaha, the other RGBs work fine (at least for now), but this SW8 is gone.

What do I need to buy to clean the PCB? (I'm based in Portugal BTW), I tried to use something that was labeled as a 'pickling agent', but that didn't work out well (as we can see in the picture)

Hi there fellow people,

I was building an Aurora Sofle_v2 and I may have screwed things up. I melted one of the RGBs with the soldering iron and in the process of trying to remove it the solder pad was removed as well

After that I tried to "fix" it a handful of times, and now I believe that the connectors might be gone =(

Is there a way for me to salvage this RGB? (Or perhaps to link the previous one with the following one on the chain, so at least it works for the others)

I was thinking of connecting things using cables, is this an option?

Update: Bodge wiring worked! I got some spare cable pieces I had laying around and soldered it to the board The back doesn't look pretty, but at least it's lighting up (except the last RGB where I accidentally soldered two pins together, after this I'm not going through the troubles to fix it)

This is what the board currently looks like on my desk, I love it (even though the missing RGBs look silly hahahha)
