We are going to need that medical care.. On account of all the cancer.

The Liberals should have brought Randy Boissonnault, who they stood by as a great indigenous voice.

Given our dollar tracks the price of oil I'd say that then makes up screwed. I hope the poor didn't need anything from the government.

We can't even fund our basic healthcare after 10 years of the Liberals. How many citizens don't have a doctor, and what is the wait time at the ER?

That's a good argument with yourself there.

WWII was caused by global populism and tariffs just as we are seeing now. I think it makes sense to assume rapid changes in the financial market can cause populism, price controls, tariffs, etc..

Maybe you're right that the political instability isn't due to the global financial markets though. I just thought we could be reliving some form of history.

Well you're feeding a lot of words into my mouth that I can't really digest.

Well I just find it ironic that one is spreading hate by saying gender can be fluid and manipulated, which gender being a fluid construct sounds exactly like the far left as well.

Maybe I'm just not smart enough to determine what the difference is.

I kind of think Ubuntu or Fedora with Gnome or KDE will be the best, given the support and development.

My dad uses Ubuntu as an htpc and has livepatch enabled, but every year or so when I visit it's always out of date. This time it needed a partial patch.

Is Ubuntu just bad, is there a better alternative that's closer to Windows where the machine are actually kept up to date?

I've been looking at this stock, its 1.86$ and has a 48m$ enterprise value. It has a -4.95m$ operating income but does 27m$ in marketing. At a 46m$ enterprise value cutting 7m$ from marketing would put them at a 20x PE with fantastic growth, and a yearly marketing budget 1/3 the enterprise value. Anything I'm missing?

I use a headless server connected to nothing but an ethernet cable in my basement, and I'd prefer to allow the thing to boot by itself and start up without me needing to unlock the disk encryption every single time I do an update or power back on. Its a Dell 9500t NUC that I'm using it as a server and am wondering whether its possible to encrypt everything still.

I do generally use docker containers, so could I potentially encrypt just the containers themselves, assuming I'm worried about a smash and grab rather than someone keeping the machine powered up and reading my ram?
