Hey, some of the most creative and delicious combinations have come from being low on ingredients. Either that or I was just starving to death πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ 🀣

Sardines, alright. I'd try it πŸ˜…

Sure looks tasty!

Awesome, looking forward to the mainline rollout!

Alright, firstly that's an excellent spec/hardware list. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed reading through it.

Second, I should have been more specific. I really meant to ask why you arranged things the way you did. In my head, I'm being critical of the setup, but I thought you probably had reasons for why you arranged it the way you did and I didn't want to be negative πŸ˜…

You might also try in the buyitforlife community too, just a suggestion

As for stainless, I have a small pot and pan from swiss diamond that I've been very happy with. I don't know how they compare to other brands, but they've served me well. https://swissdiamond.com/collections/stainless-steel

I'm going to need an explanation. Lol

I agree.

My current samsung s10e phone (comparatively small by today's standards) is too big. My last phone was actually a decent size, but had some hardware issues which is why I upgraded. It was a sony xperia xz1 compact. Before that I had a moto g, and before that a Motorola razr. All better sizes than my current model.

My next phone will likely either be a linux phone, or if those are still not ready then I may forgo convention/convenience and go for some kind of downgraded phone or no phone if I could swing it somehow...

That entire article could have been one paragraph.

The Deck Trap is sweeet! Who would hate on something like that, it's so cool! I also like it a lot that they have a custom briefcase cutout for everything. It's so covert, and nerdy at the same time. Excellent organization.

EmuReady sounds awesome! I'll definitely be using that in the future, hopefully it will be a good resource for my Odin 2 Max!

I've never played the Animal Crossing games, but I know they are cult classics. I love seeing all these decompilation projects!

Your next interview is giving me darknet diaries vibes, sounds like it has potential to be very interesting.

I've mostly (still) been playing Skyward Sword HD lately. It's pretty fun, but also starting to become a drudge. I kind of wish that the motion controls (even the fixed hd version) were just regular controls with normal camera movement instead of having to hold a modifier button.

I think I might give either Windwaker or Twilight Princess a try next and see how that goes. Though, I'll have to see if I can get the action replay codes to work for fixing the camera controls if I decide to play the gamecube versions... Wii U emulation on Android just isn't quite there yet, and I haven't taken the time to fully check out Rocknix yet.

Well, my vote is definitely for the best of compilation but either way I'll still look forward to it 😁

I've recently built a fold out shelf, to dual purpose as a headboard, and I'd like to be able to secure it in the upright position (I think. I'd also consider the down position if it's better somehow) for stability when moving. It's in a camper trailer, so there doesn't need to be any room for movement when it is secured.

Here are some pictures so that you can see better what I'm working with:

vertical position

horizontal position

It is brought out from the wall, so that the window blinds and the top piece on the window blinds are accounted for. It sits against the top piece nicely, but I just wanted to mention this detail because any wall-mounted solution would also likely need to be spaced out from the wall.

I was thinking some type of latch system would probably be the best. Alternatively, I also kind of like the idea of an arm or kickstand type piece that could be mounted to the base piece on the counter and the underside of the shelf, possibly with dowels or something?

Let me know what you guys think.

My options for internet connectivity are very limited. I was wondering if I could go to a library or coffee shop or wherever has a good connection and do all my downloading remotely, or if I will run into problems/restrictions.

I'm thinking they may not allow VPN's or something like that?

Hey, I'm interested in tips/recommendations for improving my shopping experience when going into stores that have loud music playing. I don't want to be unaware of my surroundings by not being able to hear at all, but the obnoxious levels to which many stores blast their (objectionably atrocious) music (as well as other loud/constant noise that is happening) is almost unbearable to me and really makes me not be able to think straight when I'm in the store. I've got my own task list and agenda, and when I can't think about things clearly it really slows down my whole process.

I'm wondering if any of those decibel reducer ear plugs would be a viable option? I feel like I've seen those recommended a few times.

I've experimented by wearing noise cancelling earbuds before, which kind of worked, but this presented some level of unawareness that I didn't like and also seems kind of rude in a way? There's got to be a better solution.

Thanks for reading.

I was pretty hyped for the new prince of persia game (the lost crown), but come to find out it's only available on ubisoft's proprietary launcher or epic games. Nope, and nope.

I just want to have it available on my usual storefront, Steam, but it's been decidedly omitted. As a long time fan of the old games, this kind of hurts. Especially since many of the others -are- available on Steam.

I wonder if/when it will come out for Steam. These platform exclusivity deals need to die.

Edit: It's also available on several consoles, my post was just from a pc gamer's perspective.

Hi, I'd like to lament a little bit here and see if you all would like to make some suggestions for me too. I've have consistently encountered different issues through 3 different speakers that I've tried using with my laptop

The first one is a JBL flip 6. When I have it connected to my laptop it makes consistent audio glitches/stuttering (so much so to the point where I consider it unusable). This is really disappointing because I have been really happy with this speaker, it otherwise strikes an excellent balance of battery life, portability, sound quality/volume, and versatility. I don't know what causes this problem (which seems to be exclusive to being connected to my laptop) and otherwise have zero complaints about it.

The next speaker I tried is a Marshall Kilburn II. I really enjoyed the sound quality of this speaker, looks, portability, the controls were all pretty good, and it had a 3.5mm audio input jack as well, so this was going to (hopefully) alleviate any potential bluetooth woes. Well, Marshall did a stupid design choice and implemented an automatic standby mode. This mode was so persistent that I would have to use the button repeatedly in order to get sound to come out of it. In-between watching videos, or playing games, having to repeatedly press the function button on the speaker to get the audio source to switch back to the aux input was a real annoyance and immersion breaker...

The third, and current speaker to have become a failure for me is the razer leviathan v2x. This one is a usb-c powered speaker, with bluetooth as well. It is not being recognized as an audio device by my laptop when I plug it in. It seems to have pretty excellent bluetooth connection, which would be fine except for the RGB lighting is reactive by default to whatever audio is being played. It's setup in a visualizer kind of way, which in my opinion is way too distracting. I don't want this thing erratically flashing quickly and with many different colors when I'm trying to watch something, or listen to something. It's extremely distracting and immersion-breaking. I would be ok with it if there was a way to turn this off, or make it less erratic, but because the speaker isn't being recognized by my laptop, there's no way to control the speaker's lighting using razer's software which also doesn't recognize the speaker (bluetooth or usb-c connected). I called Razer support to troubleshoot, and was recommended to take it back to the store for a replacement. If it so happens that this was a factory defect, and the replacement operated correctly, I'd probably be happy with a new one.

Thanks for reading all of that, if you managed to get that far.

I've been using this app for quite a while now, and I like the way it's designed, but I'm wondering if there's a better equivalent.
