Oh yeah, a buddy of mine had a Kawasaki 250 2-stroke. That power band kicking in was downright terrifying. Lol

I bet you noticed a LOT less slop after replacing that one!

Damn that's cool, those turned out great!

Could you share a little more for those of us who don't know what this is?

Ha, I like that last line '...looking forward to seeing you rage quit'

It seems like they're doing it justice, and it looks like it will have a proper meaty feel to it

Who could say no to that dragon, just look how happy he is!

Thank you. Sure, I will list a few more:

-in general, try to be polite

-make an effort to be an active participant in the communities you are a part of

-donate to the developers if you have the means to do so

Oh no, poor lightening bug! Lol

In the window that pops up when replying to someone, the viewport that shows the original comment is obscured if it exceeds the size of the container that it's in. There is a sort of fade away effect towards the bottom, which is fine, but the problem is that there doesn't appear to be any way to scroll or expand the comment to view the full size.

Picture attached for reference:

I just thought this was cool and wanted to share it here. It looks like there's an instance up now, go add stuff to it if you can!

Hi, I'd like some recommendations for recording gameplay clips on my Ayn Odin 2 max.

I'm really only looking for something that saves a cache of about 5~10 minutes worth of recording in the background, that allows me to save it to a default location if I choose to save it. Is there something like this for android?

I've noticed that my secondary monitor usually doesn't turn on initially. In order to get it to turn on, I can do a restart after the initial boot and then it will turn on. Any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it? The monitor is hooked up through the laptop's hdmi port.

Fedora 42

KDE Plasma

Wayland

Nvidia RTX 4070

So, I'm hoping to reduce the substantial screen tearing that I'm encountering while watching videos.

One of the suggestions that I have found is to enable wayland, which did help quite a bit (this is the guide I found). However, I've decided I don't really want to use gnome. Gnome seems great, but I've already become accustomed to using cosmic.

Apparently pop os is in a transitionary phase and will eventually update to wayland as the default, but I'm just wondering if there's other desktop environments I should be considering? I see that Fedora now comes with a KDE cosmic variant, but I don't know if this would be any better or not.

Edit:

I ended up installing kde plasma standard desktop environment (which was listed here). Upon booting into the login screen there's a big on-screen keyboard. Hit enter to bypass it. In the dropdown menu on the top left of the screen, there is an option for 'pop on wayland'

So far, everything seems to be working good. I had to change the steam client to the 'proton hotfix' to get one of my games to play.

Anyone else running into this issue?

Anyone else running into this issue?

Upon going back to the feed page from a post page, the feed tends to load in at a different point (higher up) than where it was before. This results in a lot of repetitive scrolling.

Also, I noticed that (when new content is being loaded in?) the scrolling gets stuck in the same spot. Scrolling kind of just glitches on the same spot until it gets past it and then resumes as normal.

Hey, I noticed that the expand/collapse button tends to block text sometimes. Is there any way that it could be made transparent when hovering the mouse over it? Also, the hover text should say 'collapse' when the text has already been expanded.

These are often found on vacuum cleaner cables and such.

I'd like one to clip onto a two wire (two pronged, no ground) flat cable like this one:

Anything like that exist yet?

I'm having some trouble finding an answer for this. While in the gaming mode, just navigating the regular steam ui, the default behavior of the left trackpad acts as a redundant directional pad. I'd like that trackpad to control the screen navigation behavior instead (swipe up/down to scroll vertically, swipe left/right to scroll horizontally).

Is there an easy way to do this?
