It reminded me that if you browsed Reddit from Spain many of the ads were literal scams, like the typical fake photo of a celebrity or even the Spanish king recommending you to invest in a very fishy crypto platform.
Spanish users were complaining and reporting these ads for months but last time I checked these ads were still running.
The conclusion is that Reddit didn't even check who is running the ads and with what purpose as long as they pay them, and of course they don't give a crap if their users get scammed.
Oh the city I grew up, what a surprise to see it here and I'm so glad about these news.
To be honest, meat is deeply ingrained in the Spanish culture, it feels that we will need a miracle to something like this becoming a national movement supported by its citizens. But anyway, I'm very thankful for any move in this direction.
