What if we flood the jobs with good hearted people

You're talking about a literal gestapo. It's a jobs program for fascists. Nazis aren't hiring nice people and nice people aren't reforming nazism.

This is not some kind of clerical error. This is a primary purpose of the state. It literally prints money to violently enforce capitalism.

Any calls for teachers to be paid similarly are extremely naive at best, reactionary reformism at worst.

The market will sort this out quite efficiently:

lmao. Who actually believes this pseudo-scientific brainwashing? Nobody.

The state will continue to violently defend capital through every "market". Sam Altman and pals have nothing to worry about at all. They've got their money already. As far as "investors", the state will "bail out" these losers like they do every time. "Crashes" enrich the rich and impoverish the poor. That's almost the entirety of the "AI" grift. That's the whole point.

I think the huge mistake being made here is assuming that non-"AI" media is somehow good. TBH I feel like AI slop is a major improvement over the usual imperial propaganda, capitalist ideology, etc. We're already swimming in a cancerous pool of disinformation that's literally destroying the planet. We would be much better off if the narratives of hegemony were destroyed by a flood of "AI" nonsense.

Depends on the usage:

  • Generating images of witches - Not very harsh.
  • Perpetrating genocide - Very harsh.

Please stop posting bullshit from "LEFT-CENTER BIAS". It's completely subjective, liberal propaganda.

For example, literally nobody on the left thinks that the NYTimes is a leftist publication. It's literally a home of liberal fascism and a mouthpiece of empire. The NYTimes is just slightly to the left of Fox News but still overwhelmingly right-wing. Likewise for WaPo and the rest.

The dumb bias websites are the overton window at its worst. Worthless disinfo. Give me a break.

A delegation of relatives and friends of Venezuelans deported from the United States and imprisoned in Nayib Bukele’s mega-prison arrived in El Salvador on Monday to demand “proof of life” and to enquire about the detainees’ health status. Members of the delegation include Lisbeth Johana Sanguino, aunt of Widmer Sanguino, who arrived in the U.S. as a refugee, and Reina Cárdenas, a friend of Andry Hernández Romero, a renowned stylist who was processing his asylum application at the time of his deportation.

Khalil, a legal permanent resident married to a U.S. citizen, has become the face of the Trump administration's crackdown on student protesters opposing Israel's war in Gaza. He was the first of several students across the U.S. who were detained and threatened with deportation. Khalil was taken by immigration agents outside his New York City home in early March and detained in Louisiana.

While other students were released from detention, the Trump administration kept Khalil behind bars in Louisiana. During this time, he missed the birth of his first child. When he flew back to New Jersey over the weekend, Khalil was met with cheers as he pumped his fist into the air.

In a letter, Kyle said boosting the UK's AI capabilities was "critical" to national security and should be at the core of the Alan Turing Institute's activities.

Kyle suggested the institute should overhaul its leadership team to reflect its "renewed purpose".

The cabinet minister said further government investment in the institute would depend on the "delivery of the vision" he had outlined in the letter.

A spokesperson for the Alan Turing Institute said it welcomed "the recognition of our critical role and will continue to work closely with the government to support its priorities".

"The Turing is focussing on high-impact missions that support the UK's sovereign AI capabilities, including in defence and national security," the spokesperson said.

"We share the government's vision of AI transforming the UK for the better."..
