Removing /repo is not considered safe, but I just removed its contents anyways and then just ran a repair.

That actually resulted in more available disk space than after running the garbage collection.

And my flatpak apps still work πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

They always say "the cruelty is the point".

But why be so needlessly cruel?
Is there even any measurable benefit to literally anyone to hurting innocent children?

Why must medical decisions be politicized?

While I do have hope for the future, these politics cannot be part of that, if we want that future to be worth looking forward to.

Can we please not destroy the Cmmission?

The European Commission stands or falls by is ability to act independently. Having it's leadership (and lower layers) messed with from without, it may be significantly more prone to corruption and undermines it's effectiveness to help the average citizen like it has done impressively for the last decades until now.

Landmark legislations such as the Digital Markets Act, the Digital Services Act, and the GDPR, among many others, would perhaps not have been feasible to realize like they have been, if the European Commission couldn't have the best commissioners for the jobs.

While I do agree with many points made in this proposed legislation, I can only hope the damage done to the European Commission stays as small as anyhow possible.

Their website is slickapp.co (without the m at the end), but their Android package name is com.slickapp.

Isn't that a bit of an issue?
For example, when handling URLs?

Honestly, as long as you're not going for a clickbait-like thing with lots of πŸ˜‚, 😭, and πŸ’€, when is not really justified, I don't really see an issue.

Personally I'll use ✨, ☺️, 🌸, and πŸ₯Ί regularly in my comments as I think they're cute πŸ₯Ίβœ¨

Rather disappointing.

I'd be in favor of a law requiring the labeling of such products, but this seems to overreach; especially when applied to animal feed.

How well does Ansible work when I want to change my config? Is a quick reboot sufficient!

[–] tanja@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 2 years ago

What do you use, then?

Given the context, I'd assume either Arch or Fedora Silverblue πŸ€”

[–] tanja@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 years ago

Fedora Silverblue and NixOS looking very interesting βœ¨πŸ‘€

Thanks for the detailed response.

I'll probably go for either a Fedora Atomic Desktop or NixOS.
