For what it's worth; the technology developed for space travel over the years has led to the development of many common everyday items. I agree that space travel itself might not be the best investment but I can appreciate how it pushes the envelope for new tech.

The magnitude of the friction on the tires is still dependent on the load so would be hard to say without crunching the numbers.. but ya I agree with u, its probably much less impressive than it appears, which is all that really matters w demos like this

For those still on chrome: the switch is easier than might expect. U can basically import all ur stuff, web history, bookmarks, etc with one click when it boots the first time.
