I have. And yet I never had the feeling that my club's achievements were mine, unless I had contributed to them. And even then, I was just proud to have been part of the team with which I achieved the performance. I can differentiate very well.

Same with the sparkly eyes thing. No pun intended.

Patriotism is the little sibling of nationalism, and the boundaries are fluid. I will never understand why people are proud of other people's accomplishments and make them their own. Or is it because people were shat on somewhere else in the world than everyone else? Makes absolutely no sense.

Not sure, but I think that wasn't because of higher temperatures but higher levels of oxygen in the atmosphere.

Manchen Leuten kann man eben doch ansehen, was für Arschlöcher sie sind.

Not having kids is just as much a life choice as not letting her move in. She will have to respect that. Her attitude is further reason to not let her move in. She sounds horrible. Why rely on you, if she has money or even more money to give away? This is a horrific power game you can only lose if you give in. I guess she is someone who never had to deal with the consequences of behaving like an asshole. Time to show her that respect has to be earned. And she lost hers for you, if she ever had any.

I don't get it, either. It's like being threatened to get shot and releasing the threat and shooting yourself.

Whatever the fuck they want. Not being exploited all the time, for example.

Damn you, I read that in his stupid voice!

This is a tragedy.

It's Steam sale and I'm looking for chill farming/building games that do not look like Anime. The setting is secondary, because I've no idea what's out there. Can be in space, historical, fantasy, anything really and I'll have a look. I just don't like Anime style and forced cuteness.

Would love to hear your suggestions!

Greetings to all! I've played Total War titles for years and enjoy building an empire. Now I would like to broaden my horizons and am looking for similar games that satisfy this itch.

To categorize: in TW, 99% of the time I've only played the overarching map. The battles themselves are not that important to me.

I am variable when it comes to the setting. I like Sci Fi very much, if there is something there!

Who has tips for me?

Insurgency Sandstorm got me hooked. I've now played over 500 hours against bots and it's still a lot of fun.

Are there any comparable milsim(-ish) games against AI?

  • PC
  • I'm not interested in PVP
  • ARMA is great but for me more cramp than fun
  • Ground Branch feels more like a tech demo

Do you have any tips for me? They don't have to be brand new games either.

Hello everyone,

unfortunately I have to replace my audio-technica ATH-CKX9 InEars with a new pair.

I was hoping you could help me find new ones:

  • Wired InEar
  • 3.5mm jack
  • Use at home (Music/Gaming: 50/50)
  • Homogeneous sound (if possible)
  • Up to 120€/$

Thanks in advance, help is much appreciated!

Hello all,

I am about to become a gardener as well, but I am a blank slate. Since I live in an apartment in the city and without the possibility of using the garden (balcony is also not possible), I am toying with the idea of getting a decent and large indoor grow box.

However, the offer is quite large and quite confusing. Does anyone have experience with these things? Which are particularly recommended? The price does not matter for now. I'm willing to pay decent money for it to have something neat and durable.

Do you have any recommendations? What do I have to look out for?
