I hope that after tonight we can tell the Panthers that not only did we take their first-round pick this year and DJ Moore, but we also grabbed a UDFA QB that's better than the guy they took with pick 1
He's not a Hall of Fame QB, but throwing a bunch of picks in his first three starts as a rookie is not the reason why

Seems like everyone's upset to see Bagent, but I think it's a lot of fun to watch a rookie QB who's both making plays and making mistakes. It's not like we're throwing Todd Collins out there, we've got a developing rookie who looks pretty advanced for having three starts
If Bagent were a first round rookie, we would have no trouble taking the positives from his performance. He showed some good stuff. But in the end, he has more to prove because nobody really expects him to be a starter. I think we'll see him start again someday, but any QB controversy this year (if it ever existed) is well and truly dead.
