I've used Wero now a couple of times to transfer money to friends and relatives, and I found it to be very practical and fast. I hope it gains traction.

I appreciate lossless quality, although I don't have any fancy audio equipment at this time. When I move to a bigger place, maybe I'll start to build a CD collection. I'm not so much into Vinyls, somehow they are so popular right now that artists will release a vinyl disk buy no download nor CD purchase possible...

I am buying music as much as I can, and build my own streaming service with Jellyfin. To this day, Bandcamp is were you can find the most music for purchase but not all artists are there. Often, I don't find any place to purchase albums from artists, then I pirate as a last resort, sorry for that. I'll go to the concerts when I get the chance, to make up for it.

Looking at your down vote count, it's pretty clear most people outside of France don't know who François Bayrou is. He is indeed a disgusting lying magot. Even though I agree with him about the US-EU deal, this doesn't make him less of a coward, lying, fascist facilitator and religious extremist.

Firefox HEVC playback with HW acceleration, does it actually works ? (infosec.pub)
 

Hello all, Recently Firefox 137 was announces with the addition of HEVC playback with hardware acceleration support for Linux. I am using Firefox 137 installed via DNF on Fedora 41, but if I try to play HEVC video for example from my Jellyfin, it will have to transcode, if I go try this test sample it straight up not play, so what's up with that ? Playing content with mpv will work just fine. Firefox also reports HEVC decoding as supported. Same result with both my desktop with AMD iGPU and dGPU, as well as my laptop with just Intel iGPU.

A minimalist bedside lamp I've design to print in vase-mode (www.printables.com)
 

Reminiscent of the renowned pastry from Bordeaux (France) le Canelé Bordelais, the main design element of this lamp is known to french mechanics engineers as cannelure.

I designed this lamp with the goal to utilize the spiral-vase 3D printing mode to create a beautiful object, with a minimalist, retro, industrial style.
