Funny thing is, on my laptop there's an issue with Linux and browsers. Any video or animation, even little animations, runs at like 3fps. This makes using a browser virtually impossible.
Everything else works well, but that just doesn't make Linux an option for me right now. I tried a variety of browsers and distros. It's really frustrating. It's not even a bad laptop, Lenovo Legion 5 pro RTX3060.

Same bro, Nvidia and Linux don't play very nice together. I had horrible framerates in browser animations for example, so even videos ran at 3fps or so with audio glitches.
Not to mention 3d gaming. I'll try again in a few years, see if it changes.

Sounds like it could have more to do with the network than with the explorer itself.
I'm such a Linux man as everyone else here, but I haven't noticed any lagginess in windows Explorer after the upgrade. It's just the same, opens folders instantly.

I'm 31 now and I woke up a few days ago with a painful left ankle joint. Didn't do anything wrong with it, just woke up like that. Now walking hurts. Went to the doctor, she said structurally everything is fine and it could have to do with the shape of my feet, that that joint and tendons overcompensate and I finally started feeling that. Now I need to get insoles to compensate.
I hope the worst pain will pass soon, I'm taking it easy but it kinda sucks.

I said in my previous comment an RTX3060 and an iGPU. I tried with the iGPU, without the iGPU, switching them, hybrid mode. Nvidia drivers, nouveau drivers, it's always the same.
