it is okay for a FOSS project to start with one person.

but if it is growing and there is still only one persons doing most commits, that is a yellow flag. sign to look at alternatives.

i am speaking as both user and maintainer.

ah yes the PMC class, professional management consultants. its funny because the PMCs themselves are being tricked by the owners into thinking that they are also owners and not workers. So why should they bother organizing with the riffraff?

these projects just need help. if you find their code repo or matrix or workspace they are often very receptive to specific feedback like this.

open an issue as next step. your critique is valid but critique is only so helpful when you're a small dev team trying to do ambitious things. would rather see merge requests.
