I am too young to have experienced what it was like Pre Obamacare. But as I understand it, insurance companies used to be able to drop you if you cost too much. What is the point of their existence then? What is the point of buying insurance if they can just drop you if you cost too much.
Can someone with more knowledge of the industry explain why hits even legal that an insurance company gets to decide whether it pays claims or not? Shouldn't a third independent party decide?

It very much depends. In many states, if your employer significantly changes the terms of your employment, you will get approved.

Just be aware that many times the service you are bridging doesnt like that you are. As an example, I was bridging solely for Facebook marketplace messages and they constantly were locking my account.
