Yep, Joplin is great. It uses markdown and I've been using it for a while now. Great application

Same, it's a great machine and I've had no issues so far. It can even transcode 4K without breaking a sweat

Yup! I made the move about 5 years ago and never looked back since. Native performance, and it makes things super portable and very easy to move to another server. Just copy the docker volume and start the container on the new machine.

Super easy to switch between various versions too, if needed. And it also reduces chances of breaking stuff.

Very well said, and I agree 100%. It's like burning down a house to smoke out a rat. Or using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Or shooting flies with a canon... you get the point.
