well yeah, it's way simpler. you just block the entire website that hosts copyrighted traffic.
you can't end to end encrypt the traffic destination or else no one will know where to route said traffic. this isn't tor.
well yes, as it operates over WiFi and Bluetooth, the chip in question is the modem.
Did they eventually make the 5G modem or did they gave up and used a 3rd party modem in their phones? I'm sure Bluetooth and WiFi was not the issue in their modems, but no one is gonna buy them if 5G performs like crap while consuming way too much power.

I have heard their strategy, it's not some new thing to me. I fully understand it's their choice. However for me it's a matter of principle.
It is half the price of an “AAA” game with 6 hours of campaign.
No, it's about 1.5-2x times more expensive than the same AAA game after 4 years and a summer sale.
Cheaper alternative: flash existing router with DD-WRT or OpenWRT and access advanced features for free.
