Utterly delusional to think any of that would work. At every step you would just get your face beaten in. When the cops come they too will just beat your face in.

Thinking you can castle doctrine a squad of ICE agents is equally delusional. You could probably take a couple out but you'd still die in the end and be risking the lives of anyone that lives with you.

The only solution is well known and already in practice in places like LA: have an active community response force that will show up and intimidate and harass the ICE agents. All of the previous delusions assume you, alone, can stop an ICE with just your privledge.

Yeah I don’t see why anyone would care bout that treaty if people can ignore it.

Except we magically give all the shits about it when it comes to Iran. All treaties are selectively applied. Welcome to the world of foreign relations.

Sorry for the confusion when I said "no proof". I meant "no official sources". Everyone knows Israel has nukes they just have to pretend they aren't for the legal reasons I stated.

Any state that signs the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty is obligated to sanction any other state that didn't but has nuclear weapons.

China is an authorized to have nukes in the NPT as NWS. However, neither India nor Pakistan are NPT signatories and get mixed sanctions based on who is doing it. The US has sanctions on Pakistan but overt nuclear deals with India. China has deals with Pakistan. Australia had sanctions on India until recently.

Basically international law is only enforced if politically expedient. It shouldn't surprise you that Israel certainly wouldn't actually face any actual sanctions if they declared they had nukes. But they are legitimately afraid of getting the Apartheid South Africa treatment so they don't give any ground on the issue.

But I ran into challenges getting my server safely accessible for users outside my LAN

FWIW:

  1. vps + domain (optional?)
  2. connect vps to home server with wireguard (eg Tailscale)
  3. reverse proxy on the VPS forwarding to jellyfin (eg Caddy)

Obviously not as trivial or seamless as Plex. Also I wouldn't try to complicate this setup by using docker for everything. But once its up you can basically host whatever you want on the WAN from your LAN.

I'm talking about the present, where everyone knows Israel has nukes but not officially. Not some future scenario where Israel nukes Iran.

Iran has been extremely measured in their responses in the past decade. Israel clearly wants the US to get involved so Iran isn't going to involve them. I suspect their comfortable with making Israelis feel like Palestinians for once because I don't think Israelis will tolerate this for much longer.

Because then the US any every other IAEA signatory would be obligated to sanction Israel which would be the end of Israel's economy.

No news media dares mention it because they have no proof and would both loose any insider access and get buried in libel cases.

Every politician until a general quietly informs them that Iran can easily sink a carrier.

It'd be absolutely justified since the US is in full coordination with Israel. Not sure its wise though.

U.S. officials have so far maintained that Iranian retaliation must not target American forces, arguing that the current Israeli operation does not justify attacks on U.S. interests.

This, Israel is desperate to change. Absolutely psychotic nation hellbent on starting WWIII.
