This me. Gonna set up RDP and just remote in from my desktop. I'd rather find a new job than be that unproductive.

"Window Managers" don't exist on windows and mac. There's third party programs that re-position your windows. But you can't replace the window manager for these OSs. AFAIK they don't have a concept of a window manager. Its all one seemless desktop experience.

Love to be proven wrong or at least shown an adequate alternate. Because pic is me in a few weeks. Goodbye slack, google, and zoom. Hello M$ TEAMS.

Centrists doing damage control once again:

since modern voters tend to judge candidates less by their own idiosyncratic positions than by their party’s general image.

This is more correct than Vox realizes. The parties general image is determined by the vocal democratic supporters people know, not the actual positions of the party. The average democrat voter is far to the left of the average democrat politician and there's nothing the politicians can do about it.

These pundits keep telling politicians that victory comes from chasing a center that doesn't exist. America is polarized. Deal with it. Embrace your base like Mamdani or be abandoned by it.

  • Minneapolis also has a serious light rail system which none of those other cities do.
  • Why are we comparing Minneapolis to Omaha and KC? Why not Milwaukee or Chicago?
    • do those cities have parking requirements?
    • given that this is YIMBY propaganda, why not San Francisco?
  • Minneapolis also built more housing by upzoning single family regions. Not by building more luxury apartments.

I'm mostly just lost at the concept of "provided Dotfiles".

Also "No paid features," but somehow premium customization options.

known Kremlin parrots conveniently oppose the war for ulterior motives

What "ulterior motives" if not for being Putin's puppets? It can't be because they aren't Israel's puppets like Cruz or Trump. It can't be because war with Iran is fucking stupid.

Free desktop experience: Dotfiles provided by us, with one-click installs and updates.

Premium desktop experience: Same as above, but with more customization options. (dotfile customizations, e.g. “bar on what side”, “what button where”, etc, not Hyprland features)

What the fuck am I reading

I don't give a fuck about those people. What I give a fuck about is this:

Watching the divide in republican circles on Iran has been a great way to see who is under Kremlin control.

Is conflating being against the war with Iran with being Putin's puppet and is drumming support for the war. Stop supporting Trump's war.

To some extent I think the demands for "talks" are out of genuine fear of escalating the war. The UK is being dragged by the US which is being dragged by Israel who is the only one who actually wants this war. Its this weird centipede of colonies controlling their homelands.

Regime change isn't the plan, its just the excuse. There aren't any rebels to back in Iran. There isn't an Iranian congress in exile. Best you've got is the heir to the Shah and some trostkyite cult.

Israel's goal is to turn Iran into Libya. More genocidal destruction.
