I mean... from the scraps of it I've seen when spending time with my relatives, it seems like that's probably because it depicts healthy parenting, which is a somewhat scarce resource in this day and age.

if texas did that, we'd finally be able to wave goodbye to Ted Cruz

The accused... decided to represent himself, that's uh, certainly a decision of all time

Then please ignore my previous post, you made a good choice

60+ grams of sugar is a rough side effect to trade for hydration, friend. I'm sure there are at least some options for caffeinated beverages with low to no sugar in your country. I can relate to choosing something familiar as a default when I'm tired though.

are you telling me you genuinely missed the "share a coke with" on the label and mistook the name for a different brand name?

You most likely wanted the word skewing

Tip for future: speech recognition can sometimes help you figure out the spelling of a word you only know how to pronounce.

That accounts for some users I guess, there's probably also some who stumble upon some instance directly and don't learn about federation until some time after they register

It's worse. They're gloating.

For questions of fact rather than opinion, you're probably better off asking something like Wikipedia instead of Lemmy.

yeah, the article details a pretty extensive list of crimes

I'm thinking about buying a new PC in the next month or two. I don't play a whole lot of recent games, though it'd be nice to have the option, and I think I'd probably end up with a capable GPU anyway if I want something capable of 3d rendering like Blender, and possibly fooling around with local LLMs.

Function wise, I'm thinking I want a solid CPU, and to stack it with RAM, VRAM, and storage. and I think liquid cooling might be overrated if I don't plan to OC it. It'll also likely be migrating to Linux in a year or two when Windows 10 finally dies, if there are hardware concerns with that.

Aesthetics wise, Mainly I am not too interested in having everything be RGB. I would also prefer plastic paneling over glass; my computer case hangs from a desk mount and in the unlikely event that it has a structural failure I'd like to be more worried about the computer hardware than picking shards out of my skin.

I'm not opposed to building something myself from parts, but I wouldn't mind looking at builders / pre built as an option.

It's probably already on your radar but I didn't see a thread* about it so I figured I would mention it.

Seen 502 when trying to load the main page, and on occasion when viewing my feed on mobile web the page would transition to a 503 or 504 error seemingly without my input.

Hi,

Every so often, when I try to browse to https://fedia.io through my browser bookmark, I receive an error resolving the domain. Firefox suggests https://www.fedia.io but navigating there gives me an HSTS error (picture attached, hopefully.)

Usually, if I check back 15 minutes or so after this occurs, https://fedia.io will load normally, and then https://www.fedia.io actually loads the landing page for:

Books.Infosec.Exchange A Bookwyrm Instance for Infosec.Exchange

I'm not quite sure if this is an issue with my network or a problem with the instance itself. However, I thought I would report it. Let me know if there is any other information I can provide that will be helpful in figuring this out.

Title. I found out recently that I need some major dental work in the near future and I don't have a damn clue how I am going to raise the extra money. I want to explore any realistic options for increasing my earnings before I have to resort to taking on debt, and I suspect that soliciting ideas in a semi-public place like this will turn up a lot of ideas I would never have considered myself.

I'm not very physically fit, but I am pretty good with computers generally, and I've picked up a little bit of programming in my free time this year, though I wouldn't sell myself as a freelancer in that department or anything. I am also pretty good at proofreading / nitpicking things, my regular job is in QA.

Thank you in advance for any input.
