Even if you can afford a doctor, I'm not sure I'd risk a US diagnosis these days, what with all the talk of being sent off to a pleasant farm where nothing bad will happen to you.

Davis addressed concerns about his language on his website, stating that "when I fight Satan, I use the sharpest knives I can find."

I'm not saying I approve of his slur usage, but hot damn is that a quote.

Children of Memory was a really good book on this topic.

I don't think it makes sense to criticize grass in areas where it's a native ground-cover plant. Green lawns are bad in North America because they require an absurd amount of resources to stay alive. European lawns stay green under heavy layers of snow and are never watered.

They should all grow the fuck up. I don't have a lot of sympathy for people who would rather play passive-aggressive games than sort the situation.

I'm not sure how this relates to the practical functionality of anarchy. How is the bin situation bettered under a governmental system?

Does Joel dislike being the bin guy? He could just stop doing it.

Is Joel doing a shitty job with the bins? Anyone could start doing it, even if he protests.

I don't see the problem.

Hikeback is a visual novel horror game based on the story of the scorpion and the frog that I found very moving.

e: If you prefer to watch stories rather than play them, I believe this is a full playthrough:

Am I a bad person for considering doing this to my partner's computer without their knowledge or consent?

I think the usage there isn't meant to be correct, but incorrect as a joke. It's like how I've seen people call themselves a tran. (Trans is obviously plural.)

Wikipedia describes communism as a stateless society.

A communist society entails the absence of private property and social classes, and ultimately money and the state.

In response to the question "What will be the course of this revolution?" in The Principles of Communism (1847), Friedrich Engels wrote: "Above all, it will establish a democratic constitution, and through this, the direct or indirect dominance of the proletariat." While Marxists propose replacing the bourgeois state with a proletarian semi-state through revolution (dictatorship of the proletariat), which would eventually wither away, anarchists warn that the state must be abolished along with capitalism. Nonetheless, the desired end results (a stateless communal society) are the same.

How do you explain the existence of anarchist communism if the two are mutually exclusive?

A convection oven circulates hot air around the food to maintain an even cooking temperature.

An air fry uses a much stronger flow of hot air, and the air is not circulated but instead evacuated from the cooking chamber

My convection oven works the way you describe the air fryer. I'm shocked to learn they actually make them without vents. Why do they do this??
