Who makes decisions on which features get implemented next?
I'm scared to contribute to any projects because I doubt my work would be utilized. I'm wondering if there's a schedule or something I can look at, and prepare for upcoming work? or, how do people get involved

Why do you care? There are so many other cultural differences to highlight, history and music and art that only exist overseas, hundreds of millions of people with the same dreams and ambitions you have. Why on earth would you focus on something so trivial?
I work with recruiters who hire for big companies. Interview with the recruiter over the phone, then a technical interview, then a team meet/personality interview, then an offer. I have a steady salary now working for a huge client and I much prefer it to a sales-based income
I would want my employees to be happy, so I'd be lenient any time they needed to take off. Bonus them well. Give them paid vacations
