I have no diagnosis, but for me this is "oh I have a point I want to make about this, but it is rude to interrupt so wait until the speaker is done speaking." Then my mind wanders a bit while I was waiting. Then I completely forget what I was going to say.

I think people should boycott entities that they feel deserve it, but only to the extent that their financial situation warrants it. For example, I try to not buy from Amazon. I think everyone should do this, but I have the luxury of being able to afford paying more for the same thing bought elsewhere. Some people don't, and that's OK.

Confirming that there was a traffic jam and explaining to my wife that she should have avoided it via using Google Maps to get home from work even if she knows the way.
