It’s super weird to think about now. But I remember that being me while growing up. No one really acknowledged the fact that those in my “group” were being separated from our friends.

It was super interesting though because there were always a few people from the other group that would crossover and make friends between groups. Those were the types of people everyone liked, but I’m seriously noticing this same pattern again and I fucking hate it.

It’s so so so fucked. That’s why I seldom go outside (lmao and almost typed this out in response to the copypasta post before realizing it was a copypasta)

I have a friend who I met while living in a different but semi-close city I enjoy spending time with, but I get the sense that they do not appreciate spending time with me as much as I do with them. I simply enjoy their company and appreciate that we can talk about similar things without me worrying about how I am being perceived lol

We were supposed to hangout but they canceled on me last minute. No worries, seems like it was important for them

I was thinking of saying the following: No problem! Maybe we can reconnect the next time I'm in the area, considering I have other folks up there I like to catch up with as well. happy holidays!

I did the thing. I made my voice heard in our democracy, others in my community did the same. But nothing fucking changed and the system of electoralism remains ever rotten to the core.

Lol but now I’m being told that “they’re scared of us because they say how frustrated we were.” Bull fucking shit. Why the hell do people equate mean words and insults with violence? This is the exact same song and dance that’s been happening for decades in American politics. “You must work within the system to get the change you want” or whatever other nonsense. “Be sure not to damage any potential relationships with liberals or scare off any potential voters!”

I guess the most absurd part about all of this is that liberalism has a track record of producing zero systemic change (or hell even challenges for that matter). So what am I fucking doing with my life at this point? What the hell can you even do without doing something that addresses the root cause of a serious problem?
